family time
Family Time is a photographic series documenting my trips to New Hampshire to visit my dad’s side of the family. This body of work explores my connection to my family through the lens of a camera in these intimate settings. In my adult years I’ve had a harder time connecting with my family; a disconnection that comes commonly with growing older and becoming your own person. Over the last few years I’ve started taken photos of my family to as not only a way to connect, but as a way to further understand and examine our relationships to one another. This series documents the evolution of a family; the shifting of dynamics, and the narratives that develop.
This is an ongoing series that will grow and change over time as I continue to visit New Hampshire in the years to come.
